4 Winds 4 Bells For Amsterdam is a gift to the city of Amsterdam for the 750th anniversary.
The theme of 4 Winds 4 Bells For Amsterdam is about freedom in all its facets from inner to outer freedom, political to personal freedom. Furthermore, the project is a call to ensure freedom for the future. The theme will be translated into stories of people across the centuries who have found freedom in Amsterdam. It will also take a critical look at how free Amsterdam really was or is. The project promotes the connection between different musical groups with roots from Indonesia, Suriname, Arabic countries and Europe.- More
